I am Lisa of The Colored Umbrella! I am the owner, product developer, creative director, line worker, custodian and basically all the jobs!

 

 I have been in business for 6 years and absolutely love my job! I have a major glitter addiction (like I have a lot).

 

I have lived with anxiety, depression and adhd for pretty much my whole life and being creative is my happy place that helps me find my center and channel all those wonderful joys in my life. Nothing makes me happier and feel more calm then creating pretty things and sharing them with others! I am a mother of 4 absolutely adorable kiddos! They are 8,6,4 and 3 so it’s crazy town at my house but I love that I have a job that allows me to be home with them full time and watch them grow! My amazing husband is a travel nurse and we just love him and he is the most loving and supportive man ever and allows me to go for my dreams no matter what!

I created The Colored Umbrella in 2015 and started with making wood signs but shifted Into the resin world over the last few years and am absolutely obsessed! Tumblers have become my absolute favorite thing to make and I am so grateful for the success that it has brought to me! I am addicted to Diet Coke so a shift into the tumbler world just made sense haha!

I also love working with sublimation and making shirts, blankets, Tote Bags, notepads, home decor and all the other fun projects in that world! I’ve also recently started dabbling in digital designs and creating cash envelope budget systems and so many other fun projects! I love to evolve and add new projects to my wheelhouse!

I love teaching others how to be more creative and hope to help others find some happiness in their own lives through creative outlets.
